Immersive Programs for Global Learning

American Students

Each year, SPIRAL organizes educational tours that allow American students and adults to experience daily life in another culture. Participants explore famous cultural and historical sites and visit local schools to connect with students and teachers. Students at American schools that host international exchange students also benefit from this enriching cross-cultural exchange.

Teachers & School Administrators

SPIRAL provides programs for American teachers and school administrators to travel abroad, where they gain insight into different cultures and educational systems.

International Students

SPIRAL helps international middle and high school students experience American culture and improve their English through short-term camps and longer stays in the US where they learn with American students and join local field trips. Students stay with host families or in local college dormitories, giving them a taste of American life.

All of our trips are fully customized to your school’s interests and needs. To get started, contact us to schedule a conversation where we’ll learn about your goals, timeline, estimated group size, and more. We will then create a customized itinerary, estimate costs, and create any promotional materials you need. When you’re ready to register students, we’ll provide an online registration form, hold informational sessions for students and parents, and work with you to organize pre-trip educational activities and orientations.  The entire process of planning a trip generally takes between 8 and 12 months, but please reach out sooner if you have questions!

No. SPIRAL is an educational company that collaborates with schools and educators to design educational programs. The programs often include international travel to deepen cultural understanding.

We offer two exciting online Chinese language programs taught by experienced native speakers.These courses are offered for large or small groups as either in-school classes or extracurricular activities:

  • Have Fun With Chinese —  A fun and interactive way to learn Chinese for all ages, from kids to adults. Learn more about this program.
  • Learn Chinese and Travel to China —  This year-long high school course lets students earn credit while learning Mandarin, exploring Chinese culture, and even preparing for a future trip to China or other places with rich Chinese heritage. We organize groups of middle or high school students from Taiwan and China who are interested in visiting the United States for short “camps”. These students learn and practice English by participating in projects, cultural workshops, and activities with American students. Camps may be held throughout the year. SPIRAL compensates schools to host the visiting students.

Students from China and other countries are placed in U.S. schools for a full academic year to work towards a high school diploma. We also recruit students to seek higher education in the U.S. using our marketing networks in Asia to reach prospective students.
