Last month SPIRAL launched a pilot online Chinese Language learning program—Have Fun with Chinese. The program brought international students and teachers together, and received an incredibly positive response, with 100% of surveyed participants indicating they would recommend the classes.
Because of this success, we will continue this pilot by offering four additional classes—for free—beginning on July 22nd and ending on August 12th. The classes are scheduled on Wednesdays. Each class will last for 40 minutes. The returning students will further build their knowledge of Chinese language through learning words and basic usage of food, drinks, vegetables and colors.
The continued pilot Chinese learning program also welcomes new students at the beginning level. Through the four classes, participating students will learn Chinese words and basic usage of my name and self-introduction, family members, fruits and numbers.
Classes will again be offered for free via Zoom and with the following schedule:
Wednesday July 22, at 9:00 – 9:40 am, and/or 10:00 – 10:40 am
Wednesday July 29, at 9:00 – 9:40 am, and/or 10:00 – 10:40 am
Wednesday August 5, at 9:00 – 9:40 am, and/or 10:00 – 10:40 am
Wednesday August 12, at 9:00 – 9:40 am, and/or 10:00 – 10:40 am.
Chinese Language classes will also be offered this fall. Stay tuned for further details!
