This summer, eight students from Swanton Elementary participated in our Have Fun with Chinese Kites Summer Camp. They explored the history and cultural significance of kites, and experimented with designing their own. Every morning, they learned and practiced Chinese words and phrases, including introducing themselves, naming colors and animals, and counting. But their favorite activity? “Ni Hao Hide and Seek”, which they invented themselves! Want to know how to play? We’ll share the secret at our next summer camp!
