A group of Boston-area educators just returned from our Chinese Heritage: Teaching, Preserving and Adapting Across Borders trip. Participants on this Professional Development Trip learned how Chinese language and culture is taught and preserved in the multicultural societies of Malaysia and Singapore. By visiting cultural attractions and schools, they gained firsthand experience with the cultural diversity and inclusivity of these two countries where different ethnic groups co-exist.
American and local educators had the opportunity to learn from each other and share their different approaches to education.
The Chinese Heritage: Teaching, Preserving and Adapting Across Borders trip will be available in 2023.
